"It works okay, but the price feels kind of much"
It does the job fine overall, so I can’t really complain too much there. But for what we actually use it for, the price feels a little high, if that makes sense. Support has been okay when we needed it, not bad or anything. I’m just not totally sure the value is all the way there for us

"Decent, but the setup was a little clunky"
The online ordering setup was, okay overall. It did connect with our site, which was great, but a few of the menu updates took longer than we expected, and support wasn’t always the quickest to get back to us. Everything works fine now, but the beginning just wasn’t super smooth.

"Pretty solid, but I do wish setup had gone smoother"
Overall, the hardware has been good for us. The terminals are quick and haven’t really frozen up, which was the main thing I was hoping for. I do regret not planning a little more time for setup though, because it took longer than we expected. One of the scanners also needed to be restarted a couple of times, which was a little annoying, but not a huge deal. It’s definitely better than what we had before, so I’d still give it 4 stars.

"Finally, a quick fix without the runaround"
I was bracing myself for another long back-and-forth with support, but they got it sorted the same day. No extra hassle, no endless questions, just fixed it and let me get on with my day.

"Helpful support, just a bit slow"
When I ran into an issue, tech support did eventually help me get it fixed, so the end result was fine. The only frustrating part was the wait between replies, and I had to explain the same details more than once. Based on my experience, they know how to solve the problem, but the process could be smoother and faster.

"Payments are okay, but not perfect"
We’ve been using FoodTec for payment processing, it’s been fine, just not amazing. Most cards run through without any issues, but we’ve had a couple of slow batches, and figuring out some of the fees took longer than I expected. Support did help us out eventually, which I appreciated, but it wasn’t exactly quick. Overall, it works, and it gets the job done, I just wish the whole process felt a little smoother.

"The delivery tools were frustrating"
The delivery management side was a real headache for us. Orders didn’t always update quickly, so we were left feeling stressed and unsure, and our drivers got confused more than once. The setup also took longer than we expected, which was frustrating. Support did step in and help a bit, but day to day it still felt like way more hassle than it should’ve been.

"Works fine, but the changing terms are frustrating"
The POS itself is decent and gets the job done most of the time, but it definitely has its annoyances. The menus can lag, and the reporting feels clunky when you’re trying to pull info quickly. What really bugs me, though, is how the terms seem to change after you’ve already signed up. It makes it hard to feel like you know exactly what you’re agreeing to long-term.

"Super helpful staff training!!"
We had FoodTec Solutions come in for staff training it went even better than I thought it would!! The trainer was really patient, explained all the POS steps in a way that actually made sense, and never made us feel rushed. My team picked things up quickly and everyone felt way less stressed afterward. I’d definitely use them again!!

"They handled our custom tweaks well"
We needed a few changes in FoodTec to fit how our shop runs, and they got it taken care of without making it a whole thing. There was a little back and forth, but support actually listened, understood what we meant, and fixed it the way we needed

"Decent system, but the reliability is hit or miss"
We’ve been using FoodTecSolutions at our restaurant, it works fine most of the time. The layout is easy to follow, and our staff picked it up quicker than I expected, so day-to-day it’s not bad at all.
The frustrating part is the reliability. It can slow down right when we’re in the middle of a rush, or sometimes we have to restart it... which is not ideal when orders are piling up! Support has been helpful when we’ve reached out, but I really wish the system felt more consistent. It’s not a terrible setup, just not as dependable as I hoped it would be.

"Reports are finally easier to make sense of"
I’m usually feeling pressured to figure out what’s going wrong fast, especially on slow days, so this has been a relief. The analytics make it much easier to spot dips and notice menu issues without having to dig through a bunch of stuff.

"FoodTec has been mostly fine for..."
FoodTec has been mostly fine for us, and I don’t think I’m being too picky here, but some of the third-party integrations felt a little clunky. We had to reach out to support a few times just to get everything syncing the way it should. To be fair, it’s not a dealbreaker and the system does what we need overall, but I expected the setup to be a bit smoother.

FoodTec Solutions has been really easy for us to get the hang of. Managing menus and orders feels straightforward, and I didn’t need much help figuring things out. Nice when something just works 🙂

"Menu updates don’t stress me out anymore"
I was in a overwhelmed mood when I first started handling menu updates in FoodTec, but it ended up making things a lot easier than I expected. Changing prices, updating items, and getting everything live doesn’t feel like a whole back-and-forth process anymore. It took me a little bit to figure out where everything was, but once I got used to it, it’s been really smooth. I’m happy with it.

"Support got back to me really fast"
I had, like, a small setup issue in FoodTec and couldn’t figure out what I was missing. I sent a message thinking, you know, I’d probably be waiting around for a bit, but they actually got back to me really fast.

They explained everything in plain, normal terms and kind of stayed with me until it was sorted out. I really appreciated that they didn’t make me feel silly for asking, because, good support like that makes a big difference.

"Inventory tracking finally feels manageable"
I used to dread checking stock because the counts were always a little off, but this has made it way easier to keep everything straight. it’s been such a relief. Wait, seriously, the stock counts are finally right, and that alone is a huge win.
